Through anti-poaching patrols and community education, we've helped reduce elephant poaching in the Amboseli ecosystem by 67% over the past three years. Local rangers, trained and funded by International Volunteer Home Tz, now protect over 1,200 elephants across the region.
In partnership with local communities, we've constructed 12 new classrooms across 8 villages, providing education to over 800 children who previously had no access to schooling. Our programs also provide books, uniforms, and teacher training.
