For the Great Migration (July–October), we recommend booking at least 6–9 months in advance — premium camps sell out fast. For other seasons and destinations, 3–4 months is usually sufficient, though earlier is always better for group bookings or if you have specific lodge preferences.
Most of our programs require no prior experience — just enthusiasm, flexibility, and a genuine desire to contribute. For medical or veterinary programs, relevant qualifications are required. Each program page lists any prerequisites clearly.
All International Volunteer HT safari prices include: accommodation, all game drives, park and conservation fees, meals as stated in the itinerary, airport transfers, and a certified guide. International flights, visa fees, travel insurance, and personal spending are not included.
You can cancel with a full refund up to 30 days before departure. Between 30 and 14 days, a 25% cancellation fee applies. Within 14 days, the deposit is non-refundable. We strongly recommend travel insurance to cover unexpected situations.
